Stories About Health & Well-Being
Restoring trust in public health starts with giving people the facts.

View MoreAmerica has a health problem—and it’s not just about viruses. Chronic illness is skyrocketing, trust in our medical institutions is at an all-time low, and too many public policies put politics before people.
From the food we eat, to the medicine we’re prescribed, to the policies that dictate our children’s school attendance—our health decisions are shaped by a system riddled with perverse incentives, poor transparency, and one-size-fits-all mandates that treat Americans like subjects, not citizens.
Americans deserve a system that’s transparent, accountable, and focused on helping them live longer and healthier lives. That means rooting out the worst actors, fixing incentives so the right thing is also the smart thing, and giving every family the information they need to make the best choices for themselves.
It’s time to rethink public health—and restore trust by remembering who it’s supposed to serve: the people.
