My eleven year old daughter is working hard to excel as a goalie in her soccer club. Our community has invested in this team for the last 7 years. We have competed against male teams within our own club for training purposes over the years. There has been a definite difference in strength and speed. The girls have shown matching ability in executing game plans and sometimes a greater ability to work as a team. There is also a definite difference in strength and aggressive play. It is absurd to think a biological male playing in a female sport could take the place of a biological female athlete. This will assure our daughters will give up on their dreams. Why try? Soccer is an aggressive sport without pads. Males are hurt during every game in professional soccer leagues. I would not like to see my reaction at a match if I found out a male player posing as a female injured my daughter. This has to STOP!!!!
