In 1974-1976, I was on the West Plains High School tennis team. I worked hard and practiced all of the time and did well in school. I ranked #1 during my junior and senior years. I had a chance at a scholarship but I didn’t want to go down that path. I was proud to be a female athlete and followed female athletes such as Chris Evert.

I back Riley Gaines 150%. God created [the genders] male and female, and men don’t belong in women’s sports. I’m tired of a minority [transgender-identifying athletes] dictating to the rest of us. I’m sick of our president siding with people who wish to jeopardize women’s sports.
