When I was in California, a state that has been destroyed by these leftists policies, I was an Independent Contractor. I was a Facilitator for the California Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training. I was contracted by the state to teach leadership to peace officers, a very necessary component of law enforcement.

However, the state did away with Independent Contractors and I was forced to become staff at Long Beach University to continue my passion of giving back to my chosen profession, law enforcement. This created a huge issue when I was forced to fall under University guidelines and squashed my freedom to work independently.

I left California for many reasons, however, this was one of them. Now I face that same issue as a freelance writer on a National level? This is insanity. Please honor the Constitution and allow us to live free and to choose if we want to be part of a union or not.
