I’m a mom of a 14-year-old female competitive year-round swimmer. She also swims for the state team at her high school. There aren’t any trans-identifying athletes competing right now, and I’m ready to speak loud if there ever is.

I stand by Riley! I’ve followed her swim for years. She is such an inspiration to all the girls on the team, even before this March 2022 incident. There’s a HUGE reason [why] boys and girls compete separately. I’m doing the best I can to spread the word. We are women and we are STRONGER together.
