I have credit card debt for the amount I paid the day I had my medical exam. Then, I received an account for an additional value, which is now in collection with the threat of being reported to the credit bureaus.

I have tried to make an agreement for half of the debt but they tell me no, that I must pay 100%. This causes me emotional anguish knowing that I owe that money because I have to pay [for] something which I was not aware [of] before undergoing the medical examination.
