As a former college aquatic athlete, we need to do better to save our sports, save our athletes, and protect the women’s sports we fought so hard to have. We messed up at the NCAAs and we need to NEVER make that mistake again. It’s degrading, it’s embarrassing, it’s absolutely disgusting. Women and men work so hard to be the best and they need to be noticed. Set up another category: men, women, neutral gender to give the optimal results and feedback to the sport, or any sport in that matter!
