I coached (refereed or assistant coached) my daughter’s soccer teams. One year, I had her also play in a recreational co-ed league. The difference was there were rules on min/max girls/boys on the field. It gave her great confidence to play against/with boys, which helped her in her girls’ league. [There is a] big difference for the young ladies having to compete as equals [compared] to a male body that is built stronger, burns lactic acid out faster, [has] larger lung capacity and so on. Fix it. Just fix it.
