“For most of my adult life I have been a stay-at-home and homeschool mom to 4 girls. When my youngest daughter started going to the local public school this school year, I decided I should get a job. Since I work independently, I can let families with whom I work know what hours I am available and work around my daughters’ schedules. I can work while they’re at school or during “zoom” school, and I can be home when they need me for help with homework. Being an independent contractor is the only way I could make it work for our family.”
