My oldest daughter is an athlete, and now the mother of an athlete and coach. It is so important for character building, sportsmanship, and learning to be part of a team. Our entire family was engaged in her competitions in middle and high school. We had great quality family time, as well as making many lifetime friends through her involvement in athletics. It was time well spent by us all.
